THE MCN DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1965 WITH THE MISSION TO PROVIDE ELIGIBLE CREEK CITIZENS WITH SAFE, EFFICIENT AND AFFORDABLE HOUSING.
WE STRIVE TO MEET THOSE NEEDS BY PROVIDING HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH
HOME OWNERSHIP, EMERGENCY HOME REPAIR, AND RENTAL PROGRAMS.
THE LEASE WITH OPTION TO PURCHASE Program offers Native American families affordable housing with an opportunity for home ownership through a lease agreement with the Dept. of Housing.
THE EMERGENCY REPAIR OF PRIVATELY-OWNED HOMES Program provides emergency repair services for low-income Tribal citizens that reside within the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Tribal Jurisdiction.
THE MORTGAGE DOWN PAYMENT AND CLOSING COSTS Program helps Native American families become first-time homeowners with grant assistance for mortgage down payment and closing costs.
THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING RENTAL PROPERTIES Programs provides low cost rental housing for Native American families through the Affordable Housing and Elderly Housing programs.
