The MCN Department of Housing was established in 1965 with the mission to provide eligible Muscogee Creek Citizens with safe, efficient and affordable housing.
We strive to meet those needs by providing Housing opportunities through
Home Ownership, Emergency Home Repair, and Rental Programs.
ELDERLY SUBSIDY PROGRAM
Helping Elderly Creek families 62 and over afford suitable rental housing.
Homeowner Assistance Fund (HAF Program)
Providing funding assistance for specified delinquent homeowner expenses
TRIBAL HUD-VASH Program
A Rental Subsidy Program exclusively for tribal veterans.
THE LEASE WITH OPTION TO PURCHASE Program offers Native American families affordable housing with an opportunity for home ownership through a lease agreement with the Dept. of Housing.
THE EMERGENCY REPAIR OF PRIVATELY-OWNED HOMES Program provides emergency repair services for low-income Tribal citizens that reside within the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Tribal Jurisdiction.
THE MORTGAGE DOWN PAYMENT AND CLOSING
COSTS Program helps Native American families become
first-time homeowners with grant assistance for mortgage down payment and closing costs.
THE HOUSING RENTAL PROPERTIES Programs provides low cost rental housing for Native American families through the Affordable Housing and Elderly Housing programs.
